DMG Blockchain Solutions announced it has received a $1.5 million energy efficiency incentive tied to the successful deployment of hydro direct liquid cooling (DLC) technology at its Christina Lake data center. The incentive followed an independent third-party energy efficiency study that confirmed the DLC system delivers significantly greater energy savings compared to traditional air-cooled infrastructure.

DMG noted that the finalized efficiency results exceeded its original expectations, reinforcing the Christina Lake upgrade as a cornerstone for future cooling deployments and next-generation infrastructure improvements. The company also reiterated its ongoing efforts to transform the Christina Lake facility into a world-class AI data center.

Alongside the incentive announcement, DMG released its January 2026 preliminary operational results. The company mined 23 bitcoin, consistent with December, while operating at an average hashrate of 1.69 EH/s, down modestly month-over-month as management prioritized profitability over maximum output. As of the end of January, DMG held 414 bitcoin, reflecting selective liquidation to fund operations.

DMG also provided an update on its Boardman, Oregon data center acquisition, noting that due diligence issues have delayed the transaction. As a result, the company has withdrawn timing guidance and emphasized there is no certainty the acquisition will be completed.

Finally, DMG announced the appointment of Steven Eliscu as Corporate Secretary, adding to his existing role as Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Catherine Cox, who has stepped down from the position.
